Latest News from Alex...           Sharon and her team ventured out into the freezing cold to the Kya Sands Informal Settlement (Cosmos City). They managed to rescue 4 litters. 1 mom with 4, four week old puppies, another skeletal looking pitbull cross mommy with 7 puppies that are two days old, 4 five month rottweiller puppies and 2, two month mixed breeds. They also found a female puppy who had frozen to death in this terrible weather :( It is very sad but that is the reason why Kitty and Puppy Haven are around - to stop animal abuse and save them before its too late. During the rescue process Sharon was attacked by the pitbull mommy. She somehow managed to carry on until all the new rescues were safe and secure at Kitty Haven!!
